Corrections, disputes, and removals

The Florida Propane Supplier Guide is an independent directory where propane businesses are listed free of charge. We build each listing from publicly available business records, and we calculate scores and review summaries by running every business's public Google reviews through a single, published scoring system that we apply the same way to everyone. This page explains how you can correct factual information about your business, challenge the data behind your score, or request to be removed from the directory. Payment does not affect scores or rankings under any circumstances. See scoring method for the full scoring rubric.

Fixing business details

If your name, address, phone number, website, hours, or service list is wrong, we can update it. Send us the correct information along with proof we can verify, such as a link to your website or your Google Business Profile. Once we confirm the correction, it will stay in place through future data refreshes, so you won't see the error come back.

Challenging your score

A dispute means you believe the input data itself is faulty: your listing is matched to the wrong business, reviews aren't yours, or a review summary misrepresents what customers actually wrote. We do not hand-edit scores, so a dispute asks us to re-check the sources and regenerate your listing. We don't adjust numbers because you want a higher result, but if the underlying data is wrong, we'll fix it.

Requesting removal

We take a listing down when the business has permanently closed, is a duplicate, or falls outside what this directory covers. Closed businesses are also picked up by the monthly re-verification cycle. Because listings come from public business information, an accurate and in-scope listing may stay published, and we will give you that answer plainly if it is the one we reach.

How long it takes

Every request gets a response within 5 business days. Approved removals are completed within 7 days. If we decline your request, we explain the reason.
